Graduate Level Assistant Site Manager
We are currently seeking a Graduate Site Manager for a £20+ million mixture of Commercial, Hospitality and Hotel refurbishment project located in Manchester (M3)
What we are prioritizing is highlighted below:
Internal Fit out :
* Daily Inductions (as rota). control of turnstile site access & maintain vigilance of security risks
* RAMS and other Safety assessment reviews + Friday packs for packages (as package responsibilities matrix)
* Daily supervisor briefings (as rota) and record actions & collection of Set to Work briefings
* Issue & close out of permits to work
* Carry out H&S duties as Duty Holder matrix & liaise with SHEQ Manager as required
* Comply with relevant duties set out in the Construction Phase Plan
* Responsible for H&S including implementing waste management site protocols, ensuring the site is properly assessed and monitored
* Complete daily diary & progress photographs
* Assist the Site Manager with subcontract package Management including labour/plant/material resource allocation ensuring works are carried out in a practical and logical manner to meet the requirements of the programme, to enable timely completion of the works without compromising safety or quality, revising the work plan as required
* QA inspections, functionality testing & completion of checklists including all associated photographs and records as works progress to maintain the Quality File on site
* Assist the Site Manager with on-site administration to ensure the site runs smoothly & project costs are minimised without detriment to procedures, including Management and uploading of all information and evidence on Connect
* Assist the Site Manager with Trade-to-Trade work area handovers
* Attend weekly multi-trade coordination meetings
* Attend weekly package contractor production meetings (as package responsibilities matrix)
* Maintain a regular and professional dialogue with the Document Controller, Design, M&E, Planning & Commercial Team + other support staff, and the Client contact & their Building Facilities Manager
