Do you have an understanding of Scientific Instrumentation/Equipment?
My client who is a leading supplier of specialist scientific instrumentation, now seeks a further Graduate Service & Installation Engineer to join their growing team.
Based at my client’s facility in Surrey, you will take responsibility for installation and service of my clients range of scientific instrumentation.
Full training will be given, but it is expected that the successful candidate will have a mixture of electronic, mechanical and software skills and should have a professional appearance along with strong communication skills.
This role would suit either a recent graduate with technical skills, or an experienced field service engineer.
On a daily basis you will be installing, maintain and upgrading equipment both on site and remotely.
When not travelling you will be based at my client’s office, helping with internal service work, and providing customer technical support.
You will also be generating quotations for work/service etc
The role will also include customer contact/support via both email and phone, and therefore strong communication and relationship building skill are essential.
This role will include a medium level of travel with some overnight stays.
A clean driving license is also essential.
Experience:
As the successful candidate, you will have a minimum of a degree in a technical subject.
