The ideal applicant must be able to work as a team as well as under their own initiative. Enthusiasm and a genuine interest in working with children with SEN is essential. Applicants will also be required to go through our compliance screening and vetting process which includes a virtual interview, DBS checks and safeguarding training.
For the right candidates, there is immediate starts available – for the role to last until potentially the end of summer term!
To be successful in your application, it’s ideal to have experience in one or more of the following:
Be a recent graduate (graduated in the last 24 months) from any University course. A degree in education is preferred but is not essential.
Exceptionally dedicated to supporting pupils with special educational needs.
Willing to learn, working as part of a committed team and taking on guidance from others.
About the role:
You will be supporting children 1:1 and delivering extra support to young people with complex needs
Supporting students with Special educational needs – including Autism, Moderate learning difficulties and behavioural needs such as ADHD and Emotional behavioural disorder.
You will be supporting teachers in managing pupil behaviour.
You will be working to provide tailored activities that cater to individual needs of the child
You will be following the Primary and EYFS curriculum delivered throughout the provision to students.
You will use your kind and caring nature to provide a safe space for young people to grow and develop
Supporting the class teacher by following daily session plans to enable the students to get the best quality education
You will use your kind and caring nature to provide a safe space for young people to grow and develop
Show a commitment to safeguarding and undertaking training
