The Role:
As a Graduate Science LSA, you will be an integral part of our science department, working closely with experienced teachers to support students' learning and development. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in Classroom Activities: Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver engaging science lessons, helping students grasp complex concepts and experiments.
One-to-One Support: Provide individualized support to students who may need extra help in science, ensuring no one is left behind.
Resource Management: Help prepare and organize science materials and equipment, ensuring lessons run smoothly.
Inspire Curiosity: Foster a love for science by encouraging questions, discussions, and curiosity among students.
Assessment Support: Assist in grading assignments, tests, and projects, providing valuable feedback to both students and teachers.Requirements:
A degree in a science-related field.
Passion for education and a desire to inspire young minds.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability and a willingness to work collaboratively.
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus.Benefits:
