Role: Graduate Sales Account Manager

Salary: £18K- £20K basic salary + uncapped commission

Location: Sheffield

Our client is an environmentally friendly print company.

As one of their Account Managers you will be responsible for sourcing and handling new enquiries alongside managing some existing accounts.

The emphasis of your role is on building and retaining relationships on a business to business platform to support repeat customers and word-of-mouth recommendations.

You will be responsible for obtaining new business by means of correspondence combining telephone contact, email and face-to-face at a variety of trade shows and networking events.

You will behave professionally and have an interest in Fairtrade ethics.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

As an Account Manager you will report directly into the Sales Manager and be responsible for the relationship management of some existing clients. Primarily you will be responsible for building up your own client base and exploring new clients within your industry sectors as assigned by the Sales Manager.

* Managing existing accounts and ensuring the positive relationship is maintained to ensure repeat orders.

* Seeking new business by appropriate means in line with the General Data Protection Regulations (2018).

* Exploring product type and availability to best suit the customer needs.

* Working closely with the Account Manager team, Operations, Production, Quality Control and Design & Marketing to ensure orders are fulfilled in accordance with our KPIs.

The successful candidate:

The candidate should be hard working, motivated and professional.

* The ideal candidate should be happy working within an ethically focussed, versatile, growing organisation as well as having an affinity for maintaining and developing effective administrative and processing routines to ensure accurate sales records.

* The ability to work and communicate effectively with others both internally and externally, business to business, providing required information and data is a must as well as having a methodical and proactive approach to work. Ideally, the preferred candidate will have some experience in account management.

* However, we will consider applications for Junior Account Managers for those who have not necessarily had direct hands-on experience.

* We are looking for someone who is enthused by the prospect of applying existing skills derived from either direct, similar experience or transferrable from other roles/educational and life experience to help deliver its services effectively, as well as being committed to contributing to positive social and environmental change.
