Murano is a vibrant company with an exciting programme for applicants who are seeking their first role in, or looking to break into, the rewarding world of Asset Management. Over two years, you will learn about alternatives, get first hand exposure to fund managers and be given the opportunity to further develop your knowledge by taking the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) exams. You will also be given ample support from the team and opportunities to attend various industry events. At the end of the programme, successful employees will be able to progress to senior positions within Murano; alternatively, management can help pave the way into the Hedge Fund industry by utilizing our exclusive client portfolio. We are an open an inclusive company looking to recruit a graduate, if you have the will, we can teach the skill.

As we are looking for someone who is about to take the first step on their career ladder, we will fully train you during your first month or two.
The Programme at Murano is to enable individuals with limited or no exposure to financial services to start their careers in the investment management industry and gain the skills and experience required to progress their careers within the industry. All Trainees will be given the opportunity to build relationships through both social and professional events.

Murano employees are given a holistic view of the industry early on in the programme through in-depth conversations with allocators to learn what the motives are behind specific investment strategies. From these calls, we create customized investor profiles for our clients. Once you have a firm grasp on the investor relations aspect of the role, you will get autonomy to network and build lasting relationships with five fund manager clients. This is where the role becomes multidimensional and you are able to see the tangible benefits your work has on our clients’ sales pipelines, and in helping these successful companies meet their asset raising targets.

Making 50 calls with investors daily to understand their allocation requirements.
Managing a client base of fund managers – this includes providing a premium service to your own clients to assist them in identifying suitable investors, as well as keeping the Murano team up to date with your clients’ progress and needs.
Participating in weekly conference calls and monthly review sessions to gain feedback from your clients.
Observing and interacting with fund manager presentations in order to gain a deeper understanding of specific investment strategies.
Entering and updating gathered information into our CRM (Client Relationship Management) system, which is at our clients’ disposal.

Candidate Requirements
