The location of our Store Support Centre is Melton, near North Ferriby, which is approximately 10 miles from Hull City Centre. You will need your own transport to be able to reach us as there is limited public transport.
The IT department are looking to appoint a Graduate Report Developer to strengthen and support their growing team.
As the Graduate Report Developer you will be responsible for the following:
Querying databases and producing detailed reports through SQL Server
Analysing of the retail/sales data across the business
Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly automated reporting
Assist with forecasting and planning – typically built in Power BI or Tableau
Pulling reports and analysing the data
Pulling and composing reports on revenue
Working within a team and able to hold a technical conversation with all levels of the business
Ability to identify problems and provide solutions
Any other adhoc duties to support the team
This is an exciting new role within the I.T department where there are opportunities for technical progression. The successful Graduate Report Developer will ideally hold the following:-
Educated to degree level achieving 2.1 or above within a related subject (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related subject involving maths such as Economics or Data Science)
Programming languages including Transact-SQL
Passion for technology and online advertising
Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis
Passion for digitally representing data
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
Show willingness to learn and confident in their approach
Holds strong attention to detail
Must be eligible to work in the UK
