As a Trainee Consultant you will:

* Grow your own 'desk' within the business across the engineering/ property sectors (all long term contractors)

* This will consist of developing new relationships with prospective clients in Midlands through various platforms- telephone marketing, networking, face to face meetings, sales pitches, email marketing and lead generation

* Build your own portfolio of candidates in order to pitch new vacancies, consult on opportunities, advise on the current market and match to relevant client requirements

* Work with colleagues to ensure no opportunities are missed for client or candidate

* Work towards individual and company targets

* Undertake training and work independently to learn

Applicants:

* Trainee level or graduate level

* Minimum of 3 months sales experience within a targeted environment

* Money motivated- you will be working long hours, so you'll need to be happy with this in return for the reward you'll receive

* Competitive, driven, ambitious

* Tough skin and strength of character

* You must be able to handle demanding and high pressured situations

* Intelligent and able to handle sales conversations with Managing Directors

Working hours 8am-6pm- be aware that you may need to work later into the evening to get the best results (speaking to candidates after work, following up on missed calls, getting hold of hard-to-find candidates)

Starting salary 18k + very good commission structure- realistic earnings for year one are around £30,000 (salary + commission).
