£20,000 to £25,000

Penguin Recruitment is currently seeking an ambitious Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join one of our established clients in Birmingham. The company have been around for over a century and work within the residential, infrastructure mixed-used and industrial.

You will have the ambition and drive to deliver a high-quality professional service and will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels and good client-facing skills. They will have effective problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions, be a good team worker, with the ability to work with the minimum of supervision using their own initiative with a flexible approach to work with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.


Graduated with at least a 2:1 in a Master's or Bachelor's degree in a Civil Engineering or related subject
You'll be passionate with the curiosity and creativity to solve problems
You'll want to throw yourself in from day one and put your studies into practice
You'll have excellent communication skills
You'll enjoy working in a team environment, sharing ideas and collaborating with colleagues
You'll have the confidence to work under pressure with the ability to prioritise and plan effectively
A well-organised approach to your work
Desire to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams
Flexibility and dedication to the delivery of projects
