We are a growing international specialist healthcare company. Our mission is to bring to market medical products that meet the needs of specialist healthcare physicians and their patients. Due to increased work flow we have an urgent requirement for a Graduate level QC Scientist to join our highly motivated team initially on a 6-month contract basis.

The Graduate QC Scientist will provide analytical testing support for all pharmaceutical and drug device products manufactured at the Farnham site. Following company Quality Standards or Pharmacopoeia methods testing will cover raw materials, excipients, components, in-process samples and finished products. Testing will include a high proportion of visual and physical measurements associated with the testing of components and embolic beads. Responsibilities will also include documenting all work in a compliant manner, participating in OOS investigations, reviewing of analytical results to ensure accuracy and compliance to test methods, preparation of all laboratory documentation, participate in the training of other laboratory personnel and participate in or lead continuous improvement programs.

Education and Experience

– Be educated to BSC (minimum) in Science or related discipline.
– A knowledge of quality systems and preferably the experience of working in a regulated environment.
– Have a good knowledge of GLP/GMP.
– Have a working and technical knowledge of analytical techniques such as; HPLC/GC/Dissolution/Classical Wet Analytical Techniques.
