Graduate Project Design & Application Engineer, Hull, salary up to circa £26,000 – £32,000 dependent upon experience, company bonus, pension, life insurance and critical illness cover. 37.5 hours per week.

Arlington Moore recruitment is recruiting exclusively for our client who is highly successful Engineering company based in Hull with a global presence. Due continues success they are looking for a Project & Application Engineer in a newly created role. As the Project & Application Engineer you will be working within a small team managing various projects at any one time and you will be considered a key technical point of contact for customers.

This is an exciting role which has real variety for an ambitious Engineer who is keen to learn and develop their skills. The role is customer facing both external and internal so requires someone who is confident and self-motivated.

Responsibilities: –

Provide technical advice and application consultation to customers (generally manufacturing and engineering), both internal and external, to develop the best solution for the required application
Management of and participation in customer related projects
Providing technical product support for both Internal and external customers acting as the key point of contact
Performing technical product testing and development including formulation of test applications and all required documentation
Development and maintenance of product standards and accreditations
Creation and revision of technical drawings, specifications and reports
Providing accurate technical information to the sales team and assisting where required with the completion of customer quotations
Providing product presentations and training to customers both internal and external


Degree educated in any Engineering discipline (or HND)
Computer literate
Very good communication skills
A willingness to travel outside of the UK occasionally (notice would be given)
