As a City Plumbing Supplies Project Analyst (Graduate) you will be part of the onsite Supply Chain project team, Playing a pivotal role in the multiple projects supporting the ongoing Supply Chain strategy. With a Monday to Friday working pattern and we currently don't work bank holidays as the norm either. Playing a pivotal role in the ongoing 'one team' ethos where the colleagues are central to our success.
The Role
We are currently inviting recent University Graduates to apply to join the team at the Omega Distribution site in the position of Project Analyst. This is an opportunity to come and join the team and make a real impact from day one, with strong ideas and a willingness to really get involved in shaping and landing the Supply Chain strategy, this is an exciting role for someone to learn and start their career in the Project Management arena.
Duties will include:
Engaging with suppliers in order to deliver project objectives
Building high quality processes to develop future ways of working
Stakeholder engagement using appropriate communication to support effective decision making and to ensure key deliverables are met.
Developing technical skills and knowledge while adopting best practice to identify and deliver innovative improvements in the supply chain.
Assisting the Plumbing & Heating (P&H) Supply Chain through project management and workstream support.
A high level of proactiveness and ability to influence to drive improvements across both Service and Cost.
Working to clearly defined and set time critical Milestones.
Working within Project Governance and across multiple work streams to ensure on track in ontime activities.
What are we looking for
Strong IT Skills as a must
Basic understanding of Project Management
Ideally will have experience of working with Google applications though not essential
Ability to continually adapt and learn new ways of working
Excellent communication and customer first mindset
Agile to change with a positive growth mindset
Self motivated, confident and enthusiastic with a personal drive to achieve set targets and support continuous improvement
