Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant role

• Working across year 5 and 6 supporting a variety of pupils with mixed abilities – some with special educational needs
• Lead 1:1 and small group sessions with the goal to raise pupil’s attainment and progress
• Supporting class teachers with planning and preparation of lessons – opportunity to lead a class
• Support and guidance from an ‘Outstanding’ teacher who will act as a mentor and is known for providing outstanding advice in every stage of development

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant Person specification

• Enthusiastic graduate who has earned at least a 2:2 in their degree and has practice working with children in either a paid of volunteered role
• Will be able to develop strong relationships with both staff and pupils and show a real passion for education
