As a developer, keeping up to date with new technologies is important. Whether it be personal development or in your career. Choosing a new company as a developer can be overwhelming, but it helps if they are passionate about keeping up to date in the industry, too.

A digital marketing agency in Stockton on Tees is looking for a PHP Developer to work on projects for huge UK names, as well as small start up companies. They pride themselves in supporting the development team's progression, so regularly attend conferences around the UK to keep up to date. As their new PHP Developer, you will have the opportunity to attend conferences and expand your knowledge.

Your main experience will be in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL. (Predominantly PHP).

If you have experience in the following, that would be great! But if not, you'll be learning:

Modern PHP frameworks (FuelPHP, Laravel etc)
Continuous Integration (Jenkins/Teamcity)
plus more depending on the projectAlthough they have many years of experience to back them up, they don't have an outdated mentality. We're talking flexible working with core hours of 10am-4pm (make up the hours outside those however you like), dress down, payday pizza, subsidised gym membership, free parking and breakdown cover, a perk scheme (including free food, coffee, beers, learning opportunities) 24 days' holiday + 8 bank holidays, the list goes on.

They also have a new furry, four-legged member in their office. She barks to get her point across, but she definitely helps to bring relaxed atmosphere and keeps everyone in high spirits.

So, if you want to join an enjoyable environment with opportunities to progress, and have a proven experience in PHP based web development projects, send your application and I'll be in touch
