Role: Graduate OR experienced Electronics repair engineer
Location: Basildon
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000

The job role will be to repair industrial electronic equipment down to component level and the type of equipment we repair are motor inverters, power supplies, HMI's and PLC's.
What we are looking for is either a graduate with a good electronics degree and some experience of working on PCB's down to component level, or someone who has previous working experience of repairing electronic equipment down to component level, preferably in the industrial environment.
Repair to component level on old and new PCBs and fault find & test variable speed drives, Plc`s and lift electronics
We are not interested in anyone that specializes in embedded electronics or PC repairs which is most applicants we see.
We are a small, family run business looking to grow and we are very successful and highly regarded in what we do as we are in the process of expanding our workshop
Required Qualifications & Experience
Natural flair for problem solving & diagnostics of electronic circuits to component level
HNC or equivalent in electronics engineering would be desirable
IPC-A-610 certified & experience of electronics component handling
Experience of diagnostic equipment e.g. multi-meters & oscilloscopes etc
Experienced in the soldering of fine-pitch electronic components
MS Office tools experience
