Our client is an exciting French multinational pharmaceutical and cosmetics company, based in Green Park, Reading, who are seeking a bright and enthusiastic Graduate with a Life Sciences/Science based degree to join their lovely team as a Medical Coordinator. This is a full time, permanent position, with excellent parking facilities on site – you will also have the flexibility to work up to three days a week from home should you wish.
This post exists mainly to facilitate the excellent functioning of the Medical and QRVI groups, which are the non-promotional functions within the company. The post holder will have an important role in nurturing a sense of team within and across both these groups by engaging supportively with the Managers and all team members to co-ordinate and streamline all Medical and QRVI activities.
A graduate with a Life Sciences/Science degree with an interest in the pharmaceutical industry would be well suited to this role and there will be scope for potential future development. An interest in understanding 'governance frameworks' is desirable though not essential.
Key responsibilities:
Assisting Medical Director and QRVI Manager with arrangements for weekly Team meetings, quarterly joint meetings and ad hoc off-site meetings as well as arranging 1 :1 between Managers and team members and other LT members. Initiative to consider the demands on the Managers will be needed when making and changing these and other arrangements.
To provide administrative, co-ordination and secretarial support to the Medical and QRVI teams.
Work flexibly as part of the team of Administrators and Co-ordinators to ensure that all departments operate smoothly at all times.
Ensure Medical and QRVI Finances are well-managed with timely processing of all Medical & QRVI monthly invoices and entering and tracking the flow of all steps through Dynamix.Skills/Experience:
A life sciences/sciences related graduate
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
An ability to nurture a strong sense of team will be important, given some hybrid working.
