Your new role
Through discussions with our client schools we are anticipating a high demand for Graduates across all subjects to support schools in Teaching Assistant , Learning Mentor, Catch-Up Tutor and Cover Supervisor capacities. All of these roles can be excellent starting points for a career in Education whether that be teaching or not.
In the main these roles are long term and on a day to day basis you may be supporting an individual student on a 1:1 basis, working with small groups or delivering pre-planned work to a larger group. Sounds simple but one thing we can guarantee is that every day will be different!!
What you'll need to succeed
In order to join our team supporting schools in Nottinghamshire you will need to be able to provide reference details covering some experience working with young people. This may have been as part of your degree, as part of a sports / drama / dance club, as a volunteer youth worker or many other ways that you might have gained that experience. If you are keen but don't have that experience then please do seek out voluntary opportunities and get in touch with us once you have built it up. As well as the minimum experience requirements you will need to be committed, reliable, enthusiastic, articulate and above all, a positive roll model.
What you'll get in return

We will work within agreed parameters such as location and age range and then support you throughout your assignment. In addition you will receive access to a wide range of education specific online training .
