Our client is one of the world leaders in the technology of patient care, and is seeking an ambitious and eager Graduate Medical Sales Representative to join their sales team, promoting an excellent range of patient handling equipment to key customers in hospitals across the North East, Yorkshire and the East Midlands! The ideal candidate location for this position is around Leeds.

Ideal Requirement
* Full UK driving licence is essential.
* Recent graduate, ideally in a scientific subject.
* Strong sales experience in a customer-facing environment.
* Excellent demonstrable research into the medical sales industry.
* Shadowing experience of a Medical Sales Representative is highly advantageous.
* Keen desire to step into the medical sales industry.
Role Responsibilities
* Meet and exceed sales targets.
* Analyse the market, develop an effective territory/account sales strategy, and present the strategy to management to gain approval for implementation.
* Perform all activities to maximise sales (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction, presentation, and trial to closing and contract negotiation.
* Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
* Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provides relevant reports and information.
* Record, analyse, report, and administer according to systems and requirements.
* Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
* Maintain and acquire new product, technology, market, sales tool, and process knowledge.
* Identify and address all key decision makers (clinical, administrative /economic) key opinion leaders and key referrals in all accounts and reports on them to the national sales manager on a regular basis.
* Further develop existing accounts into new product lines and develops entirely new accounts.
* Build strong and lasting business relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process.
* Identify upcoming tenders.
* Attend and participate in key professional congresses and events as required.
