Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading engineering consultancy looking for a Graduate Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to join their Building Services team in the Swindon office.

Your new role will see you take on some new duties and responsibilities. You will be required to deal with projects, predominantly in the UK, from concept stage through design and construction, and then to commissioning and handover – all this will be under the guidance of a senior engineer.

Our client believes individual development is paramount, so they'll be looking to train, develop and support you to achieve chartered status.

Some of the technical work associated with this Graduate Engineer role is:

Lighting calculations
Part L Compliance checks
Liaison with architects, clients, structural engineers and contractors
Project Management
Site inspectionsTo be considered for this Graduate Engineer role, you will ideally:

Hold a first-class degree in a relevant field, such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Building Services)
MSc is desirable
Have experience with AutoCAD
Have experience with Amtech/DIALux/Relux is desirable
have a passion and keen interest with the built environment To be considered for this role, you must hold a degree relevant to Building Services.
