Building Services Engineering consultancy practice, who work in construction, design and architecture. They specialise in projects in retail, travel, leisure, commercial and residential.
Currently they are looking for Graduate Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join their building services team in Egham.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare designs and calculations for building service engineering systems in buildings using company approved software and calculation sheets (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit MEP)
* Respond to queries from building services design team members and contractors as necessary
* Carry out tasks in order of priority to ensure that project and client programmes are maintained
* Inspect/monitor the provisions of as fitted drawings and O & M manuals
* Co-ordinate MEP designs with other members of the staff and other members of the building services design team
* Liaise with the company’s CAD staff to ensure production of CAD drawings to suit the project programmes
* Ensure filing of correspondence and other documents is correct by following the company procedures associated with hard copy and digital filing. Maintain these in good order and ensure the most current information is readily available and that redundant and out of date drawings are removed and either labelled accordingly or discarded
* Ensure all documentation is produced, issued and filed in accordance with the company requirements
* Basic knowledge about Revit MEP
Qualifications:
* Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineering within Building Services
* Good level of technical competence and an imaginative approach to design solutions
* Good knowledge about Auto CAD MEP
* Basic knowledge of Revit MEP
* Good knowledge of Building Services industry
* Competent in the design and specification of electrical building services in various projects, types and sizes
