The Head of Marketing is looking for a life scientist with a strong evidential academic background and either experience working within marketing or with a genuine passion for getting into a marketing role and the life sciences qualifications to enable them to tackle the topics covered by the company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating the customer benefits the company create as a provider of products and services across key research areas through digital and print content. This position is responsible for technical writing of marketing content, as well as the campaign deployment, campaign analysis and innovation for campaign execution. This position works closely with Product Managers and Senior Campaign Manager in EMEA to develop and produce high value content to customers.
This task will be accomplished through a variety of campaign objectives, including but not limited to, lead generation, brand awareness, increasing sales and/or revenue, new product promotion and targeting new customers. This position requires execution of marketing tactics that span the customer buying journey including creating awareness, establishing interest, promoting education, driving customers toward a purchase, and ultimately developing brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Marketing
Participate as a member of the Agile EMEA Sprint Team by attending the team meeting, managing workload through tasks and assisting in creation of project slides for sprint reviews
Campaign Deployment
Work with the Senior campaign Manager to design, implement, and deploy multi-channel marketing campaigns via the EMEA Agile Scrum process.
Communicate and collaborate regularly with Senior Campaign Manager and Product Managers whilst operating as part of EMEA dedicated Scrum team.
Measure, monitor, and report on campaign objectives and success metrics during and after campaign launch.
Execute marketing tactics as required, including working with 3rd party vendors, advertising and content websites and Social Media platforms to meet campaign objectives
Ensure marketing campaigns are delivered on time and on budget.
Track, manage, and report on marketing campaigns on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Facilitate the review and approval process for marketing collateral, including liaising with Product Management to ensure the correct product positioning is achieved.
Scientific Content Writing
Create scientific content via channels that include, but are not limited to email, social media, advertisements, flyers, blogs and landing pages that support visibility of collateral and the marketing strategy
Work with external agencies as appropriate on technical content when needed, including but not limited to application notes, white papers, technical product guides, eBooks, scientific posters, and website content.
Work to ensure content able to be leveraged across multiple channels, including traditional and digital media.
Other
Travel quarterly in the field to improve and optimize use of the Sales channel and obtain Voice of Customer (VOC).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Passion for marketing
Superb demonstrable scientific writing experience either within education or the workplace
Bring innovative and creative ideas on how to best reach our targeted audience.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to approach sensitive topics with diplomacy where necessary.
Comfortable interacting with customers in a scientific laboratory setting, as needed

Qualifications, Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Science (Neuroscience or Genomics would be advantageous)
Qualification in Marketing – Desirable
0-3 years of marketing experience ideally
Strong content management background
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
