Our client is a well established and respected company in the land surveying sector and has an innovative strategy to excel within the industry to mould graduates/junior surveyors into industry experts. They are looking to add to their existing team in Reading and are comfortable with either a graduate looking for their first role in industry or someone who's maybe already gained some experience elsewhere.
Your duties would include –
Assisting the Senior surveyor in establishing and setting up of both primary and secondary control
Assisting the senior surveyor with Dimensional control
Assisting the senior surveyor with setting out of construction works
Maintaining and carrying equipment
Assisting with downloading of data and production of Asbuilts
Using GPS, Robotic Total Stations, aerial and terrestrial scanners, and computer software.
Requirements for this position –
A land surveying / civil engineering or Geomatics qualification or equivalent is preferable.
CSCS card (ideal but not essential)
