£32,000 – £42,000 per annum + Good Package

The Company

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, talented, and enthusiastic Junior C# .NET developer to join a fast-growing tech start-up based in the heart of Whetstone in North London, only a stone’s throw from the High Street. You will be working within a small friendly team in a fun ‘non-corporate’ environment. You will have access to free fruits, snacks, and soft drinks and will be treated to a weekly company lunch. This is a very exciting role with varied work and lots to get involved with, there’s never a dull moment. Not only will this role give you exposure to the full life cycle of an established SaaS product serving 300,000 requests an hour around the clock to customers around the world, but you will also be involved in new product development and the creation of new SaaS products.

Essential Requirements:

A 1st or 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline or other relevant IT qualifications.

* A passion for technology.

* Strong communication skills.

* Evidence of experience in web application development.

* A good knowledge of ASP.NET C#, HTML and CSS.

* A good knowledge of MS-SQL skills.

* A good knowledge of JavaScript / jQuery skills. A good understanding of interactions between server-side processing and client-side script. (.NET life cycle, AJAX, serialisation, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

Working within a small team to design, develop, test, document, support and maintain bespoke Windows software solutions and web applications.

* Producing well-commented, high quality, clean and performant code.

* Deploying applications, monitoring their performance and maintaining them in production.

* Analysing and resolving technical and application problems.

* Participate in software testing and other quality assurance activities.

* Package and support deployment of software releases.
