Graduate IT Projects Engineer
A fantastic opportunity for a highly organised graduate to work as a Graduate IT Projects Engineer, joining an industry-leading software company in Cambridge, supporting infrastructure and networks.
Location – Cambridge (initially remote due to Covid restrictions)
Salary – £25,000 + private healthcare, pension etc.
Requirements for Graduate IT Projects Engineer
* You must hold a 2.2 class degree or above in a technical or scientific subject relating to Information Technology or Computer Networking
* Achieved at least BCC at A Level (or equivalent UCAS point)
* Highly organised
* Excellent writing ability to produce technical documentation
* Strong analytical skills
* Brilliant communications skills both written and verbal
Responsibilities for Graduate IT Projects Engineer
You will provide support across the Head Office of a leading software house including:
* Coordinate and facilitate backup processes alongside the Network team
* Generate metrics that enable the organisation to measure supporting workflows, processes and systems which enable the organisation to deliver its key external and internal services
* Maintain and update list of company contacts for responsibility of internal services
* Create and record IT related purchase orders
* Create and update documentation for internal systems and processes
* Create and standardise IT Project Documentation & Workflows
* Monitor call volumes and resolution compliance.
* Work across teams in the Head Office providing support where appropriate
* Assist in recovering assets
