As a Graduate Insurance Technician, you will play a vital part in supporting Clients and Account Executives with accurate and effective technical Insurance administration.
Your day-to-day duties as a Graduate Insurance Technician are listed below:
Updating and recording payment of premiums for Insurance transactions
Preparing and submitting policy documentation
Providing Clients and other parties with resolutions to technical Insurance queries
Monitoring and dealing with incoming transactions and documentation
Ensuring accuracy and quality control checks on all documentation
After training and as you gain experience, you will be working more closely with Clients and supporting them with their Insurance requirements.
Graduate Underwriting Assistant and Accounts Assistant – Initially 6 Month Fixed Term Contract – Potential to go Permanent

Our Client is seeking a Graduate to join their Underwriting team, this will be dealing with cargo and freight liability Insurance.
What does a Graduate Underwriting and Accounts Assistant do?
With full training, you will be working with Underwriters and Accounts departments to deliver and maintain the service required to support the Underwriting book of business.
As a Graduate Underwriting and Accounts Assistant your responsibilities will include:
Develop knowledge and understanding of the Insurance market and underwriting process
Assists the Underwriters in the production and distribution of policy documentation
Input and maintain accurate records within the Underwriting and Accounts systems
Liaise with Brokers and Policyholders to obtain information to produce Insurance documentation and chase for outstanding premium / adjustments / declarations
Raise invoices as required in the relation to the policy wording
Aid in the premium collection process, credit control or direct debits
Maintain reconciliations within the Accounts department
Asist with the smooth running of the Accounts department, including banking and remittances made
