Job Description –
RAC are recruiting a Junior Forecasting Analyst in our Head Office based in Walsall, who is looking to kick start their career with a large iconic brand. RAC are looking for candidates who thrive on being in a very fast paced environment, can take total ownership of their work, have the confidence to share new ideas and ideally have a mathematics background whilst looking to get their foot in the door of one of the largest Automotive companies in the UK.
Role purpose –
* Identify & deliver quality analytics & insight to continuously improve the service levels delivered and the efficiency of Group Operations.
* Support and develop the Operational Modelling methodology, and provide all operational areas with a demand forecast and workforce planning forecasts/budgets
* The role is accountable for demand forecasting, building operating models, short, mid & long-term resource planning forecasts for all areas of Group Operations.
* Lead continuous improvement of RAC’s processes through the insight generated from analytics, enabling ongoing delivery of exceptional service, cost efficiency & outputs from revenue generating teams.
* Ensure that operational plans derived from the outputs and insight of the analysis are followed through to implementation and measured.
* All resourcing forecasts to be built & maintained to feed into short- & long-term resource planning. Efficient & accurate tools to be built and maintained for use of the resource planning team
Skills, Knowledge and qualifications
* Proven track record & knowledge of statistical & analytical techniques to problem solve & drive business change
* Ability to manipulate and analyse this data to answer or pose business questions
* Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office applications & other data analysis tools
* Further education (degree level) qualification in Mathematics, Statistical analysis or similar (minimum 2.1 grade)
* Experience in structuring and segmenting complex data
