My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for a Graduate Flood Resilience Consultant to join an established team of Flood Risk and Drainage specialists based across the UK.
This role is home based and covers sites across the South East of England.
You will receive excellent in house training to specialise in property flood resilience.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering and a keen interest in Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Mitigation and Property Flood Resilience.
Applicants are required to have a valid driving licence to complete site visits.
It is also beneficial for applicants to reside in the South East and have experience mentoring team members and managing Projects.
This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers and Surveyors based across the UK to work on varied Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Mitigation and Property Flood Resilience for Private Sector Clients and Housing Developers. You will be based from home and visit sites across the South East to complete Property Flood Resilience Surveys. You may be required to attend team meetings via MS Teams and occasionally in office.
You will also be required to complete the following;
-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.
-Property Flood Resilience Surveys.
-Inspect and assess flood risk assets.
-Public Safety Risk Assessment.
-Survey buildings and sites at risk of flooding and complete reports assessing resilience levels, drying and decontamination requirements.
-On-site sampling.
-Complete Post Installation Assessments and invoices for Clients, following Project completion.
-Assist with auditing.
-Promote the services and products produced by the Company.
