Graduate Engineering Estimator / Experienced Sales,Project Coordinator
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000
Contract: Permanent
Location: Ammanford
Reporting to the Project Manager, the role will involve Glass Reinforced Polyester composite building projects for the utility and construction sectors. This is a great opportunity for a local Engineering graduate looking to gain valuable experience working with a great Engineering department. This role is also open to those with a Sales background looking for a career change.
Main duties
* Outline engineering and project coordination from inception to completion of GRP composite building schemes utilising in house CAD resource
* Estimate pricing and the preparation of quotations
* The timely completion of multiple concurrent projects within budget and to customer requirement
* Evaluation of best design and meeting client specification within a unit production system
* Liaise and coordinate with production heads of department, other technical, supervisory staff, and subcontractors
* Attend design review, production meetings and site meetings as required
* Control of design change during the client revision process and finalising customer approval for uninterrupted manufacture
* Proactive identification and correction of problems
Skills and Qualifications
* Engineering degree (Beneficial).
* Experience using AutoCAD (doesn’t have to be in-depth)
* Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings.
* Aleast 1 year in placement.
* Confidence whilst speaking to stake holders.
* An eye for detail.
