On offer is a role where you will be trainined to provide front-line response for breakdowns and undertake scheduled works for both corrective and planned maintenance. Reporting to the ICS Support Manager, ICS Technicians will develop a broad range of skills that enable them to service and maintain OT assets including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), instrumentation, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI's), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and Remote Telemetry Units (RTU's).
This utilities company were founded over 100 years ago and are investing over £600 million in infrastructure. They supply, service, maintain, and replace water mains across central and eastern England.
This role would suit a recent Engineer graduate or similar that woudl be excited to train as an ICS Technician and work for one of the biggest utilities companies in the UK.
The role:
Provide front-line response for breakdowns
Undertake scheduled works for both corrective and planned maintenance.
ICS Technicians are required to have a broad range of skills that enable them to service and maintain OT assets including
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's)
Instrumentation
Human Machine Interfaces (HMI's)
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and
Remote Telemetry Units (RTU's)
Continually improve safety standards
