Developing software to drive the equipment that powers the internet
A leader in the development of highly parallel ultra-high-performance electronics for powering the internet is seeking graduates in computer science or electronics with good academic backgrounds to join their West London-based development team.
This is a superb opportunity to begin or progress a career in software engineering with an internationally renowned company. The role will involve developing new software to drive high speed devices, tackle interesting technical challenges, and getting to grips with complex systems. The team thrives on intellectual challenges and overcoming those challenges by working together.
The role requires very good academic aptitudes demonstrated by a 1st or 2.1 degree from a highly ranked Russell Group or equivalent university as well as mostly A* and A grades at A-level (or equivalent).
Strong coding skills in C++ are essential, together with a passion for software engineering going above and beyond coding content of degree modules. This could take the form of relevant commercial experience / internships, open-source contributions, or substantial hobby projects. Experience of real-time operating systems such as VxWorks is highly prized. Understanding of networking protocols and a good background in data structures and algorithms would be beneficial.
Please not that unfortunately sponsorship is not available for this role, so full existing right to work in the UK is essential.
