Job Title: Graduate Electronics Engineer
Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £20,000 – £23,000 per annum

As a Graduate Electronics Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring clients' testing needs are met by performing all relevant EMC/R&TTE/Automotive/Metering and Environmental testing as required. You will ensure quality procedures are compliant with UKAS requirements and liaise with the Sales Team as and when required to aid with the quotation process.

In return, as an employer we will develop you professionally, enhancing your working knowledge of electronic systems and will eventually provide you with the autonomy to complete tasks on your own accord. We will ensure you are fully conversant with all SGS and industry policies / procedures, provide you with all the correct equipment to carry out tasks in a safe and professional manner, as well as establishing a 'careerplan’ with you to identify the steps you will take with SGS and where this role could take you in the future.

As a Graduate Electronics Engineer,you’ll receive a salary between £20,000 to £23,000, plus you’ll benefit from a 10% performance bonus, retail discount scheme, private health cover after 1 years’ service, a contributory pension scheme and life cover.


Skills / Experience:

* General Eelectronics Engineering background reflected in work experience or qualifications.

* Personal time management to enable the handling of multiple projects for multiple customers simultaneously to achieve delivery within time and cost constraints.


* 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent), to include Maths, Science, English (Essential)

* A-level(s) in science / engineering or other technical subject (Desirable)

* HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Essential)
