A fantastic company with an established history within the Electronics & Manufacturing Industry based in Manchester are seeking to hire for a Graduate Electronics Engineer to join the business due ongoing success and growth.
The salary on offer is £20,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Role: As the successful Graduate Electronics Engineer, you will be working in a highly innovative engineering team that consists of Electronics, Mechanical, Embedded Software you will have responsibility for embedded systems development and electronics design role with a focus on the full life cycle development from specification generation through to initial product verification and validation.
The successful Graduate Electronics Engineer will have experience in the following areas:
Degree or above in a relevant discipline such as Computing, Software/Embedded Systems Engineering or Electronics.
1-2 industry experience – Essential
Electronic Circuit Design (Analogue & Digital)
PCB Design & Schematic Capture
Competence with a range of PCB design tools -Altium, Proteus, CADSTAR, EasyPC etc
Fault finding down to component level
Good soldering skills
Ability to interpret schematics drawings
Embedded Software Development in C, C++
Serial communication interfaces – I2C, SPI, USB, RS232, RS485, LVDS, PCI, ISA
Good team player and communications skills
Desirable nice to have skills:
Design and testing of EMC and safety regulations
FPGA/CPLD/VHDL design
Power Electronics – Switch Mode Power Supplies, DC-DC power supply design
MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW
RF Design
