The client who is based on the Cambridgeshire/Essex boarder is seeking to recruit looking for a Graduate Electronics Engineer to play a key role in the design, development and test of radar from board level circuit design to validation and test.

The role predominantly involves digital and microprocessor systems design and requires the ability to create test software. Some analogue hardware design and occasionally RF design will also be involved. Complete products are validated in the company's laboratory to unsure successful field operations. They are looking for someone capable of working on their own initiative but who can also collaborate and communicate effectively with other engineers and end users. Training and mentoring by senior engineers will be provided to help the individual develop their skills.

Graduates with industrial experience via a placement or recent graduates with relevant academic course or research experience are welcomed. There may be occasional opportunities for overseas travel in support of the company's products.

To be considered for the post you will need the following skills and qualifications:

A degree in Electronics or Physics.
Digital and microprocessor design skills at board level
Low level software design skills
Analog design skills at board
Experience of laboratory test equipment and measurement techniques.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a small and flexible team.
A logical approach to problem solving.

In addition, the following would be advantageous:
Some experience of VHDL
Experience of RF circuit and systems design
Some experience of test automation
Proficiency in a programming language such as Python.
Radar or Wireless Communication system knowledge
