Due to growth, our manufacturing client in south Liverpool are currently seeking a Graduate Electrical Test Engineer to join the team. The business operates within the electronics industry and provide clients with test solutions. On offer is a salary starting from £24,000 and hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am to 2:30pm.
The main duties of a Graduate Electrical Test Engineer are:
Advise designers on circuit boards and most suitable testing
Reading schematics and complex datasheets
Testing software to verify the electronics and use various test platforms
Writing test vectors to prove functionality and program devices
Conducting inspections and modifying test fixture hardware
Debugging and diagnosing failures down to component
Liaise with fixture production staff to ensure a quality productTo apply for the role of a Graduate Electrical Test Engineer:
An HNC, HND or degree in electronical engineering is essential
You must possess good communication skills
You must have the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
You must have a good understanding of Electronics
