As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in lessons; setting up an effective classroom environment, supporting pupils that need that little bit of extra help, assessing pupils against their learning goals and most importantly, getting stuck in.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will stand in in the absence of the regular teacher, overseeing behaviour and ensuring the set work is completed to a high standard, the role of a Cover Supervisor would be suited to an individual looking to progress into a potential teaching career.

Reference-able experience working with secondary aged students
Ideally a child related qualification
