Graduate Draughtsman / Graduate Draughtsperson / Graduate CAD Technician / Graduate Mechanical Engineer required to join a renowned manufacturer based in Sheffield. The Draughtsperson will use Solidworks to produce detailed engineering drawings.
Reporting directly to the Senior Engineer, the Graduate Draughtsperson / CAD Technician will be responsible for creating customer drawings, detailed manufacturing drawings as well as creating bills of materials and routings. Using Solidworks, the Draughtsman / Draughtsperson will be designing mechanical, sheet metal/ fabricated products.
You must have experience using Solidworks whilst at university. We would also consider someone who’s recently completed a HNC or HND.

Role
Produce bespoke manufacturing drawings to customer requirements using SolidWorks.
Monitor costs of orders
Liaise with various engineering departments and external contractors
Update existing drawings
Create bills of materials and manufacturing routings
Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30, Friday 8:00 – 15:30

Requirements
Graduate Draughtsman / Graduate Draughtsperson / Graduate CAD Technician / Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Either a Degree in mechanical engineering, Computer Aided Design, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Design Engineering or similar. Or a HNC or HND
