The Position:
The successful candidate will be involved in coordinating marketing communication strategies across several areas of the company. This will involve daily contact with clients in a fast-paced environment that is both demanding and fulfilling, involving the co-ordination of key projects with the marketing team and the end user. This will include:
* Creating and uploading copy and images for the company’s website, taking into consideration SEO
* Writing and dispatching email marketing campaigns
* Providing accurate reports and analysis to clients and company management to demonstrate effective ROI
* Managing day-to-day social media activity to promote the brand
* Researching new online media opportunities that may benefit the business (mobile, social media, blogs, forums etc)
* Designing website banners and assisting with web visuals
* Communicating with clients, partner networks and internal partners
* Conducting keyword research and web statistics reporting
* Contributing to social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns
* Using web analytics software to monitor the performance of client websites, making recommendations for improvement
* Contributing to company and industry blogs and manage e-communications
* Assisting with paid media, including liaising with digital advertising agencies
The Candidate:
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
* A minimum recent bachelor’s degree in marketing or related
* A passion for ecommerce and digital marketing
* A good understanding of SEO practices and paid media across all channels
* Strong copywriting skills – writing, editing and tone of voice
* Strong verbal communication skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
* Sound knowledge of existing and emerging social media platforms
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
