£25,000 – £35,000 per annum
We are seeking a talented Graduate/Junior Developer to join one of our biggest's and well established clients in Oxford. The company are scientific specialists, providing services to a variety of industries and looking for a Graduate/Junior developer who they can shape and mould within their complex technical set up.
The company will provide an excellent platform for anyone coming in to develop, learn and grow into a successful developer and in return, are looking for someone with a great attitude and willingness to learn.
As a Graduate/Junior Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining software applications. You will collaborate with a team of experienced developers to design and implement software solutions. This is the kind of role where you see your work come to life and will work closely with the scientific departments giving you a sense of being part of the wider journey. Having a scientific background is not essential.
The role will require full time office working for the first 4-6 weeks and then will revert to 2/3 times a week.
Responsibilities:
Develop and test software applications according to requirements
Collaborate with team members to design and implement software solutions
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards
Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in software development
Requirements:
Ideally some commercial development experience.
Will consider graduates who have studied software development.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C#.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Good understanding of software development methodologies
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
