Are you a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work for a market leading company, offering specialist training, a variety of exciting work and the opportunity to progress technically?
As a valued member of the design team, you will support the senior engineers with bespoke design, tailored to customer requirements. You will also carry out tooling modifications and BOMs. With on-going training there is a fantastic opportunity for you to progress technically within the company.
This company are well established and off the back of recent success, have seen a significant period of growth. Due to an on-going workload, they now require an additional Design Engineer, to match the demands for their services. Manufacturing specialist components, there is a wide variety of products, making no day the same.
This role would suit a Graduate Design Engineer who is looking for an entry level role in the world of manufacturing with proficiency in SolidWorks or similar and some placement / work experience.
The Role:
Designing for customer specifications, from concept to completion
Shadowing Design Manager and liaising with other departments, whilst learning on the job
Work alongside productionThe Person:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Some experience working on a placement or for a company in some capacity
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar
Based local, or happy to relocate to the area
