Graduate Database Service Desk Consultant – Edinburgh – £20K – £24K
My client who bare based in Edinburgh area have an exciting opportunity for a fresh graduates to become a Database Service Desk Consultant with salary range between £20K-24K. They are keen to speak with high calibre graduates who have graduated within Computer Science and / or other IT related disciplines.
Key Responsibilities / Requirements:
IT graduate with a solid educational background is a must
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server would be a distinct advantage, but not essential
Good working knowledge of data entry, maintenance and management of enterprise solution products
Good Knowledge or working experience with enterprise software would be highly desirable
Ability to learn new software products quickly combined with a genuine interest & enthusiasm
Excellent communication skills, combined with previous experience in a customer facing technical Service Desk environmentOn 39 hours per week on rotational basis. (3 days per week, weekend work included)
Shift Patterns
Nightshift from 6:30pm-7:30am
Dayshift from 07:30am – 06:30pmIt's a great role for people who want to be DBAs. The organisation will train you up and within 3-4 years to can be earning double. They have a very strong and clear progression path in place for you to become a Senior DBA!
