Are you a recent Computer Science (or similar) graduate who enjoys solving problems?
This Edinburgh based business is one if the UK’s leading analytical consultancies and works with some of the World’s leading brands. They have taken on graduates previously, who have gone on to have very successful careers with them.
Due to expansion they are looking for a graduate to join their team.
The existing team’s customer care skills are great, but they could do with a bit more technical skills, which is where you come in. While a lot of what you do will not be customer facing, you may at times be giving technical support in client meetings.
It is a varied role, and you will be working on problems for clients so you will need to be someone who can identify the root cause and think what needs to be done to solve the problem – for example what networking challenges there are, or what database to build.
You will be keeping up to date with new tools and technologies.
Due to the complexities and responsibility of the role, you really need to have a bit of relevant experience behind you- perhaps a placement year. And ideally good knowledge of most or all of SQL, Python, Data Architecture, Javascript, and Cloud based development.
You will be based from home for now, and when restrictions are lifted there could still be some scope to do this- but you would go into the office once a week or so, and take part in training workshops or team lunches so you don’t feel isolated.
While it would be ideal if you are based in Edinburgh or within commuting distance, other locations such as Glasgow will be considered
