Role
I am recruiting for Graduate position as Cyber Executive for a public sector organisation based in Malvern. The role is 37 hours per week and will be paid hourly, to the equivelant salary of £30,000. The role is up until June 2021 with the possibility for extension.
Duties and responsibilities
* Support the Enterprise activity of this organisation with a specific focus on the development and delivery of the Cyber project.
* Act as co-ordinator and first point of contact for the Cyber Cluster.
* Co-ordinate, arrange and facilitate all media opportunities related to the Cyber project and prepare for a series of events.
* Support the development and use of a variety of routes to market to promote Midlands Cyber including: website, e-shot, LinkedIn, Twitter, telephone and events.
* Maintain clear KPI’s in order to measure and establish the impact of all public relations activity.
* Lead the development of compiling and promoting case studies, testimonials and good news stories via an appropriate marketing method i.e. marketing literature, website, outside organisations publications.
* Establish, develop and manage a database of Midlands Cyber companies to ensure the outcome, impact and any lessons learned are identified and recognised.
* Support CEO of this role and the CEO of the parent company in liaison with government departments such as DCMS, BEIS and the National Cyber Security Centre
Day to day
* Keep updated with all new literature and information and maintain a thorough knowledge of new procedures.
* Work closely with other team members and complement and support the organisation’s delivery and development.
* Ensure that any management information is entered onto the Chamber’s databases (CRM and Exchequer) on a regular continual basis.
* Work closely with the Quality Manager and your team to ensure team-wide compliance to ISO9001.
* Facilitate improvements to the quality management system and to co-ordinate an annual review of quality documentation which specifically relates to your department.
* Adhere to and actively promote the Chamber Equal Opportunities policy.
* At all times to work within the organisations Health and Safety policy and to ensure as far is reasonable that safe working practices are established, maintained and followed.
* Work within and assist in maintaining IIP principles for the organisation.
* Carry out any other duties as required by the business to achieve commercial objectives.
Skills and experience
* Educated to degree standard in an appropriate discipline
* Proven ability to write copy and proof read
* Commercially aware
* Proactive, self-starter with high levels of motivation – goal orientated.
* Ability to manage a range of different tasks with developed time management skills and experience of working to deadlines
* Excellent administrative skills with the ability to manage and collate large quantities of information
* Ability to communicate confidently (verbally and in writing) externally and internally
* A team player
* Proficient in the use of MS Office
* It is preferred if the candidate can drive albeit not a necessity
