Our client is asupportive secondary school are looking for a passionate and dedicated graduate to begin their teaching career inside of an experienced and committed school, intent on giving the best education they possibly can to all students and the graduates that join their school.
Role:
* Vibrant and supportive secondary school
* Located in Hartlepool
* Part-Time Role
* Paid £300 – £350 per week pro-rata
* Gain valuable knowledge and techniques from other staff
* Take on a cover rota in a variety of subjects and develop your skills as a teacher
* All resources and lesson plans given – the perfect opportunity to build your confidence
Expectations:
* Support a range of departments and students with day-to-day cover needs
* Must be willing to support with classwork in a variety of subjects
* Offer support and guidance throughout the sessions
* Work on a 1:1 and small group basis and be able to effectively record data
Person Specification:
* 1st Class or 2:1 degree
* Core subjects advantageous
* Strong A Levels to support
* Experience working with young people in a school environment – desirable
* Passionate about your own career progression
* Flexibility with regards to which core subject department you are supporting
* Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor your approach
* Patience when dealing with challenging behaviour
