Position: Graduate / Cover Supervisor
Location: Winchester, Hampshire
Salary: £80 – £95 per day depending on experience, qualifications and training
Contract Type: Temporary, supply
Hours: Full and part time hours to suit individual needs
Are you a Graduate, Coach, Mentor, Tutor, Trainer, Presenter or Aspiring Teacher?
Do you have at least 3 months experience of working with or teaching young people?
Simply Supply is looking for enthusiastic and confident individuals to provide lesson cover in secondary schools across Winchester and it’s surrounding areas.
All lesson plans and support will be provided by the school. You do not need to be a specialist in a particular subject but you must be Degree qualified and be able to deliver information clearly and in such a way that students engage in your lessons.
About the role of Graduate / Cover Supervisor
As a Cover Supervisor you will be called upon to supervise classes and deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher. All planning and cover work will be provided by the school, you’ll simply be required to deliver it.
You will be expected to arrive before the students to look through the planning and as lessons may be across different subjects, you will also receive a timetable for your day ahead.
This role will suit quietly confident individuals who would love to work with young people in an educational role, and definitely those who would like to get in to teaching.
Transport is ideal, although not essential as there are fantastic transport links.
