Due to continued business growth & success, we are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join our team undertaking the exciting new role of Graduate Construction Planner. Working under the direction of our Pre-Contracts Manager whilst you learn the ropes & flourish within your role. Therefore, a pro-active work ethic and a drive to excel are essential!

Responsibilities:
* Liaising & collaborating with all departments across the business, as well as external stakeholders, in a professional manner that embodies our company values.
* Having an appreciation or desire to learn about live construction projects.
* Supporting our commercial department and our delivery team on site.
* Assist the pre-construction team with preparing tender programmes that will assist us in securing new work.
* Attend Internal project pre-start meetings.
* Establish key outputs from Estimator and use these in conjunction with the Contracts manager to devise the optimum delivery programme.
* Analysing data to understand progress and the impact of variations/delays
* Review and update delivery programmes regularly in accordance with the project’s contractual requirements.
* Assist with writing monthly progress reports
* Identify and reacting to variations and changes to the scope.
* Assist the commercial team with providing Turnover & Cash Flow forecasts.
Due to the nature of this new role, the associated responsibilities will grow as the successful candidate progresses within the business.
Requirements:
* Degree qualified or working towards in a built environment discipline, ideally a construction management or planning based degree.
* Excellent IT skills (Required)
* Knowledge of Asta/Microsoft project or similar (Preferred)
* Basic understanding of the construction process (Preferred)
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment (Required)
