Title: Graduate Composite Engineer
Location: Devon
Type: Permanent
Salary: £22,000 – £24,000 per annuum
WRS Tech’s team have a number of vacancies for multiple businesses covering the UK and overseas.
This particular client I am recruiting for are currently looking for Graduate Composite Engineer to focus on new product development. You will be responsible for assisting in the delivery and development of composite products and provide support to the Senior Composite Engineers across the business. You will focus on all composite production to ensure that the business is cost efficient and deliver the highest level of quality. 
WRS Tech’s client is a well-established and highly regarded entity within the marine engineering industry.
Responsibilities (Brief Outline):

Create drawings and instructions to ensure production can manufacture the parts correctly
Resolve any clashes within the structural arrangement to ensure fit, form and function
Support production on any composite part related tasks 
Prepare Bill of Materials including cutting list, core models etc
Draught repairs and work elements sheets when required
Work closely with the Lead Naval Architect on any research and development activities
Adhere to all aspects of Health and Safety
When required helping other members of the team on tasks 
Knowledge/Skills Required:

Proven experience working within a composite boat manufacturing environment either as a Composite Engineer (or similar) or Boat Builder.
Practical knowledge of the laminating practices – hand laid, infusion and RTM
Knowledge of 3D CAD Software, Siemans NX & Team Centre is an advantage but not essential
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
Strong communication skills
Able to work in a team
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
High attention to detail and organised 
Qualifications/Documents/Other Requirements:

Degree or HND/HNC in a relevant engineering discipline
Working towards a chartership
