GPW recruitment are currently looking for a Graduate CE&I Engineer based in Chester. The Graduate CE&I Engineer will be provided with 2 years of structured training to achieve professional registration as chartered engineer upon completion of the programme.
Salary £27,000 – £28,000 per annum

Reporting directly to the Engineering Section Manager, you will also be appointed a Mentor and receive coaching support
Understand the role of all key departments in the Company including Engineering, Research and Development, Commercial, Manufacturing, Plant Operations and Safety
Apply fundamental engineering knowledge to the design and analysis of complex engineering systems and processes using state of the art modelling tools
Manage complete work packages, including the preparation and verification of design and analysis deliverables to meet the customer needs
Provide a professional and competent customer design and operational support service
Support site installation, testing and commissioning
Requirements
Be in your final year of degree study in an appropriate subject such as Electronic or Control Systems Engineering and be keen to become a Chartered Engineer
Be expected to achieve a 2:1 degree or higher
As a highly practical approach will be required in the role, a level of work experience or volunteering would be preferred
A well organised, ambitious and motivated individual with strong teamworking skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong problem solving capability
As our clients' sites are based globally, the programme is structured to complete a number of work assignments overseas throughout the development period IT literacy in a range of software tools is essential
An ability to speak French, Dutch or German would be advantageous
The programme may require regular travel to other sites in Europe at times, to achieve a particular learning objective
