Basic £18,000

Job Purpose:

* Shadow the UK Business Development Managers in order to learn elements of the job to a standard whereby you can produce own sales

* Shadow the Trainers to offsite and in-house training sessions in order to further expand your knowledge of the system and meet with current customers

* Attend and contribute to sales meetings

* Meet defined sales targets for the position as part of the Sales teams overall target objectives

* Assist the UK sales team with prospecting across all markets, as directed using LinkedIn and other professional forums

* Research new prospects for both UK and international opportunities, and assist with tender proposals

* Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods, with direction

* Assist with managing a customer portfolio to an agreed market development strategy

* Update CRM database with relevant updates

* Monitor and report on market activities and provide relevant reports and information

* Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills

* Attend conferences and exhibitions in relation to your job function, as required, both within the UK and overseas as required

* Adhere to health and safety policy and to customers visitor procedures when visiting customers throughout the UK

* Undertake weekly webinars and assist in the production of marketing material and publications

* Any other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

* Basic knowledge of sales

* Experience of delivering reports and presentations, or a willingness to learn

* High level of communication skills

* Ability to understand, conceptualise and interpret the requirements of others

* Degree of personal initiative and responsibility

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines

* Ability to prioritise a number of conflicting demands

* Ability to work under pressure

* Ability to analyse and solve problems

* Proficiency in a wide variety of IT software and aptitude for learning
