The Role

We are looking for a field-based Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a rare opportunity to become a critical member of a rapidly growing, well-funded start-up.

* You’ll be liaising with the most highly regarded businesses in the food industry.

* As a member of the local sales team, your role will include developing new relationships with restaurants as well as cultivating existing ones.

* You will map, prospect, pitch and close new businesses in a very methodical and organised fashion across London and the surrounding areas. This means being a city level expert including knowing the up and coming businesses and trends.

* Communicate (physical visits, emails, calls, social media) with businesses to demonstrate the technology.

* Oversee the restaurant on-boarding process to ensure it is as quick, efficient and seamless as possible.


* Sales experience preferred but not essential. Essential qualities include hunger for success, genuine ambition and motivation to work within a fast-moving environment.

* Be comfortable with targeting new business.

* Have experience and confidence pitching things you’re passionate about.

* Have great communication skills whether it be face to face, through phone or email.

* Be able to persuasively demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients.

* Be able to take ownership and work within demanding targets.

* Have an interest in all things food and restaurants.

* Be tenacious and self-motivated.
