Graduate Building Surveyor

Location – Exeter

Salary – Competitive + Benefits

My South West construction client is looking for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their multi-disciplinary consultancy so work on several projects across Central and Southern England. They are specifically interested in Graduates with a 2:1 Degree or higher in Building Surveying and have relevant experience in the Surveying field. This company has spent a great number of years developing long-standing relationships with their clients and is looking to bring someone on board who shares the same philosophy with them, as well as a drive to succeed and a willingness to become chartered. Successful applicants will be working closely with the team’s senior surveyor working on several different aspects across the Building Surveying remit to develop their understanding across a number of different sectors.

The role of Graduate Building Surveyor

Main duties include:

* Contract administration

* Specification writing

* Undertaking CAD drawings

* Working alongside a Chartered Building Surveyor and assisting in any way

* Completing condition surveys

Experience/Skills required

* Full UK Driving Licence

* At least a 2:1 in a Building Surveying degree

* Ideally have at least 6 months’ experience in Surveying

* Excellent communication skills
